This wine from Portugal where the grape is known as Alvarinho. The grape is used in popular Vinho Verdes wines. This wine uses the native Arinto grape variety. It is extremely fresh with flavours of citrus and apple. Complexity is added by ageing in oak barrels which gives it a much different taste to the previous wine.

This wine is produced in the Castilla y Leon region of northern Spain. It is made from both old and young tempranillo grapes. The wine is aged in oak barrels for 409 days. It has a juicy dark-fruit flavour balanced by complex notes of toasted spices, dark chocolate, walnut and tobacco.
