Leon Perdigal Lirac
Châteauneuf-du-Pape’s Ogier winery was founded in 1859. Since then, they’ve established themselves as one of the leading producers of the Rhône Valley. Léon Perdigal was the estate’s very first Cellar Master, and his reputation for exacting standards is honoured in this namesake label. Lirac is on the opposite side of the Rhône River to Châteauneuf-du-Pape. You’ll find your money stretches further here, since the region is not as well known as its world-famous neighbour. Léon Perdigal Cotes du Rhône has long been a wine rack staple for many Majestic customers. So this Châteauneuf alternative is certain to be a hit.
